![]() Is the White Marker just supposed to be a red herring, something that looks different but means nothing? Is its color simply symbolic of the Unitologists' hopeful ideas about it? (In my fanfic, I compare the Black and Red markers to succubi because they, imo, have the silhouette of a woman's dismembered torso a white Marker would resemble up-stretched angel wings!) Or, as more cannon installations to the "Dead Space" series will be needed to clarify, is its white color indicative of some different origin or function from the Black and Red Markers? I.e. Regarding theories about it, I'd try to figure out what the game developers were thinking when they put it in. Just some screen captures of Vandal's vision and a billboard or two from the game's setting, and the bare facts that a White Marker is shown but not explained. That's the point of a wiki, after all, right? To simplify lengthy scavenger hunts about obscure story elements. Just so that speculative fans like me don't have to go picking through half a dozen other articles only to find out how little info there is. I'd like to request one, even though still very little is known about it. I've read the page on Karrie Norton, presently the only place a White Marker is mentioned, and even a previous discussion thread about whether the White Marker should be given an article of its own, where the verdict (reached three years ago) was no. I've been visiting this wiki often lately to research the DS series for a fanfiction. ![]()
